Does Tutela really run locally?
Yes. Tutela runs on your Windows computer. The working database is stored locally and encrypted; there is no mandatory Tutela cloud for case data.
Do I need a cloud connection?
No. The core application is designed for local operation. Optional internet features such as email or links are separate from the local database.
Can I import data from older software?
Tutela supports DBF/FPT imports from compatible legacy data. Always create a full backup and verify the import before productive use.
Is the beta free?
Yes. The 2026 beta is free. After newsletter registration and double opt-in, the download link is sent by email.
Which systems are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. The current package is self-contained and does not require a separately installed .NET runtime.
Is Tutela legal advice?
No. Tutela supports structured workflows, calculations and documents, but users remain responsible for professional and legal review of each case.
